SYSL Fall 2008 Registration Rules

• NEW REDUCED FEES!
• NEW EARLY-BIRD TWO-SEASON DISCOUNT!
• NEW CO-ED HIGH SCHOOL DIVISION!
• NEW ONLINE REGISTRATION SYSTEM --- CREDIT CARDS NOW ACCEPTED!
• U5s-U10 and the U16/U18 High School division is in-house only
• U12 and U14 MAY involve travel (in-house only play will occur only if the number of players support it)
• Cost for U5s is $60
• Cost for U6-U18 players is $110
• $315 max charge per family
• PAY BY JUNE 30 AND SAVE MONEY!
• Pay by June 30 and U5 is only $40
• Pay by June 30 and U6-U18 is only $70
• Pay by June 30 and the family max is only $200
• Signup now for the spring (early-bird 2 season option) and save an additional $15
• Registration runs from 5/22/08 –  6/30/08
• Registration forms must be filled out online at www.stoughtonsoccer.org.
• NO paper registration forms accepted
• Computers will be available for use at the soccer fields (not guaranteed!)
• Payment is by credit card or check
• When paying by check, please WRITE THE PLAYER’S NAME on the check
• Check payments may be submitted via mail, or by dropping it off at the field
• Check payments MUST be postmarked by June 28th
• Check payments dropped off at the Kolz fields must be received no later than June 30th, and should be placed in the drop box at the concession stand
• ANY registration not meeting the date/payment requirements will be WAIT-LISTED.
• All first time SYSL players must provide a copy of the player’s birth certificate
• Age guidelines for Fall 2008/Spring 2008 are as follows:
• U5 – 08/01/2003 to 07/31/2004
• U6 – 08/01/2002 to 07/31/2003
• U8 – 08/01/00 to 7/31/2002
• U10 - 08/01/98 to 07/31/00
• U12 - 08/01/96 to 07/31/98
• U14 - 08/01/94 to 07/31/96
• U16/U18 - 08/01/90 to 07/31/94
• The zero-tolerance/code-of-conduct must be agreed to or the registration isn’t complete
• Sample uniforms are available at the concession stand for help in picking sizes
• SYSL socks and shorts are mandatory
• SYSL socks and shorts are no longer included with each registration
• SYSL socks and shorts may be ordered during registration, or purchased at the concession stand

Important notes:

• Incorrectly chosen uniform sizes are the responsibility of the parent/guardian.  Reorders (if possible) will be at the cost of the parent/guardian.
• There will be NO refunds after 7/16/08
• Email addresses and phone numbers will ONLY be used for SYSL purposes.  The information will not be shared with/used for purposes outside of SYSL
• All games will take place on Saturday (the following schedule is subject to change)

U12 and U14 times are TBD as it depends on whether or not travel is involved!

• Team placement will be available from the registration website as soon as the teams are formed
• Per MIAA rules, high school team players will not be expected to attend SYSL practices
